My mother is a freak.

I was out with my mother the other day as a reward for passing a GCSE and we passed by a cafe. As soon as I had got my diet coke, and I mean as soon as that bottle made contact with that table some random English woman asked us to answer questions for random exchange students from Italy. I wanted to scream "LEAVE US ALONE AND LET ME DRINK MY DIET COKE IN PEACE BRUV. YOU GET ME?!" but of course my mother had other ideas! I had never seen a woman answer these basic questions with such passion.

"What is the name of your Prime Minister?"
"Our Prime Minister is Theresa May. Rule Britannia we shall not back down!"

"What is your favourite thing about your town?"
"Oh I just love (Insert location here). It is just amazing. The houses are err really big, the area is really beautiful, the people are really nice, there are loads of uhhhh shops err a few roads away and you can get your stuff from (Insert location here) The area is forever flourishing and there are so many places I can walk my dog. Would you like to meet my dog? I think you would."

Just as they were bloody finishing their questions I thought that I would finally get to eat my meal without an Italian teenager bothering me! Oh and here is another thing, each one of them wanted to shake our hands and there was a huge crowd of them there and each one told me their names that I didn't care about nor would I be able to pronounce. I felt like I was at a bloody church service!

We finally got our food and the SAME woman asks another group of these people to come to our table as I eat. They asked the same questions and each time my mother exaggerated more and more e.g:
"I have a completely multicultural family we have an abundance of individuals whom we adore immensely." as apposed to "I have a big family."
As soon as I got around to finishing my meal and we got out the cafe my mother went on the phone and started talking trash about me on my special day. And that just about sums my mother up: an exaggeration but I wouldn't change her for a second.
